The HVAC Monitor is used to determine whether an HVAC unit is running. It has 4 channels so it can monitor two stages of heat, cool and fan on one unit or heat and cool on two different units.
Despite its name, the HVAC Monitor can be used to measure the voltage of many different devices, not just an HVAC unit. In its current configuration it can be used to monitor voltages up to 28v AC or DC.
This is a fully assembled and tested unit. This device has RJ45 (standard network) connectors, as well as screw terminals, for connecting to your 1-Wire network. This device can optionally use external power of 9-24 volts DC. Either our Power Injector or our 6 Channel Hub would provide the needed power.
